The Unexpected Move





On the first day of winter break, I wakes up and did my normal morning routine. As I starts to making breakfast my mom comes into the kitchen. "Honey I have some great news." I continued cooking but looked up at mom with a smile and said, "What is it Mom?" My mom claps her hands together once in excitement and says, "We will be moving in to Ricks house." Rick was Mom's boyfriend for the last 6 months he was a rich man with a busy schedule and I was a Jr in high school on the deans list, I was involved in clubs and school activities so we never had a chance to meet one another. 
But I never thought that Mom would up and move in with a man I never even met. "What the hell!!!!" I yelled in shock at my mom. We have lived in this house for 7 years and now we will be moving. What about her friends and school that I worked so hard to excel at.. "Bre... its okay we all will be moving into a new house closer to your school and nothing will change in that aspect he will only be home on the weekends and late nights. But when he needs to work overnight he wants me to go to the office so that we can be together every night but you wont have to see much of him." Breanna signed realizing the unnecessary worry she caused her mom. "I am not worried about him at all mom….. I was just worried about school I worked so hard all these years to get on the deans list I want a good recommendation for college. I'm sorry for my outburst." 


Mom quickly gives me a hug and said, "Honey, I know your school is very important to you. I would never do anything so selfish as to throw all your hard work away." After a long moment of silence. Mom spoke again in a low gentle voice. “That reminds me, Rick opened an account at Ikea he said we can buy whatever we need. Don't you want a new bed because you hate your twin bed and your desk is too small. You can set up your room however you like." Mom looked so happy and excited as she talked I haven't seen her like that for years. "Lets go when we are done eating then." I said. Moms face lit up with excitement and she said, "Okay, but I have to get ready and I take longer since I am old now. I'm not beautiful like you. You can just shower and throw clothes on and look gorgeous."

I laughed and said, "Mom really everyone says I'm your twin the only difference is my hair is blonde." Mom was so beautiful and smart. She has long dark brown hard that shines in the sunlight. She has D boobs with a small waist and nice round firm butt. Her eye lashes are long and dark. Her aura was that of a humble queen. She got her bar at the age of 22 when she was pregnant with me. She is now a lawyer at a well known law firm. She's 39 but looked like she was in her early 20's no wonder a rich guy wanted her. Mom laughs back, "Your right let me get ready really quick. I love you my baby girl." She placed a kiss in my forehead then went to her room. 


I ate quickly as Mom started to get ready. I then jumped into the shower washed my hair and got dressed. I didn't feel like doing much so I put my hair in a bun and put mascara on. But I want Mom to be happy we haven't shopped together in a long time I need to try to be happy even if I'm not. I need to pretend so that Mom wouldn’t be sad and Rick seems to make Mom happy. "Mom are you ready lets go..”
I yelled into her room as I walked in. "Yes! Lets go." she replied back as she ran out of the room almost crashing into me. "Mom, you look beautiful as always. Lets go have some fun."
The store was a huge warehouse we haven't bought anything in a long time because all Mom could pay for was the mortgage and pay back dads debts from the hospital bills. It’s nice to be able to do something fun like shopping for my new room set.


“Bre, how big of a bed do you want. Maybe a queen or even a king size?” Mom asked as we were in the mattresses. “Mom, no a full will be fine. Plus, I don’t even know how big my room will be.” Mom smiled and said, “ Your room has a bathroom it almost like a master bedroom maybe bigger. It’s a 5 bedroom house all the rooms are like masters…. “ I wonder why there are 5 rooms... 

“Bree…. Honey wake up your phone has been ringing the last 15 minutes none stop. Plus the movers will be here soon so you need to get going don’t you.” I woke up in a panic grabbing my phone Kallie called 10 times… oh no I was supposed to meet her at the amusement park. I jumped out of bed brushed my hair and teeth. I grabbed my clothes I set out the night before on my dresser thank goodness I put my phone on the charger before falling asleep last night.


I ran as fast as I could to get to the amusement park. Right after entering I called Kallie and she said she was at the food court across the park and she would come to the front to find me. I could see a group of guy looking at me one of them where so handsome. My heart skipped a beat when our eyes meet. He nodded his head and started to walk over to me. Shit I need to hide somewhere. Walking off fast I text Kellie letting her know my situation. She told me to take the left path and turn on the second right and to wait next to the purple ride.
